The plate positioned on the floor was rubbed against the sandpaper to produce an abstract drawing in dust. Only one version of the plate, the drawing or the remnant of the object is visible at one time.

Nailed It!
Inkjet printed backdrop, nails, and customized commercial ceramic photo-mugs

Each type of nail in my studio was arranged along a gradient photo backdrop. The area of the backdrop where each nail was categorized was then digitally photographed. The images were sent to the corporate drug company Walgreens from whom a custom coffee cup featuring the image was ordered. Each mug hangs on on its corresponding nail at its matching position it along the backdrop.
