Spray mounted digital inkJet print on foam core
Installation: 75” X 10’ X 40’
2015
An image of the horizon line off the west coast of the United States is enlarged and printed on inkjet paper and adhered to foam core silhouettes. The profiles typically used to depict scale in architectural renderings, are life size and distributed throughout the space so that their horizon line is visible from one point in the gallery space. This image shows the piece installed at the end of a cooler space in an old Wisconsin creamery that was converted to a craft gallery.
